Johannes Heurnius had various haircuts during his lifetime. He was widely celebrated as an outstanding physician and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Dutch physician was mainly known for his incomparable sense of fashion and his likable personality. Before his tragic death at the age of 58 he was frequently in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids because of his exceptionally hair and looks.
